Auditions for theatre scholarships at Northwest Mississippi Community College will be held Friday, March 26, at noon in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Senatobia campus, according to Jo Ellen Logan, speech instructor.

The auditions are for high school seniors who are entering in the fall of 2010, Logan said. “Everyone is asked to prepare two contrasting one-minute-long monologues — one from a comedy and one from a drama.”

Applicants must bring their resume and headshot to the audition, if available.

“If you sing, be prepared to sing,” Logan said. “Bring sheet music or CD accompaniment with you to the audition. If you are interested in technical theatre, please bring a portfolio or photos of your work.”
